How Do I Measure for a Belt?
Method 1: measuring tape or string
To measure, you'll either need a measuring tape or a length of string and a tape measure, yardstick, or ruler. Wear a pair of pants you'll pair the belt with, pass the string through the belt loops, and mark on the string where the end meets the rest of the string. Either (carefully!) mark with a pen, or cut to length. Lay the string on a flat surface and measure what you have; this will be the center hole measurement on the belt. I'll add 2-3 holes on each side of the center mark. 
 
If you're using a fabric tape measure, the same general process applies, just note where the end meets the rest of the tape. 
 
Method 2: measure from an existing belt
Alternatively, if you have a belt you like already, measure from the buckle to the hole where you like to wear your belt best. I'll make that the center hole on your new belt.
